What Should I Expect on My Visit
Questions You May Have

Whether you've attended church your whole life or never stepped foot in one before, we know it's not easy visiting a church for the first time. You're not quite sure what to expect. You probably have a lot of questions. We hope this information will help to answer your questions.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN I GET THERE?

When you arrive at Tabernacle Baptist Church, you can expect a friendly welcome, a relaxed and family-oriented atmosphere, and Christ-centered preaching and worship. Our First Impressions greeters will meet you at the door, offer assistance, and help guide you and your family to the appropriate areas. You’ll find a place where you can grow in your faith, connect with others, and feel right at home from the moment you walk in.

WHAT'S THE MORNING SCHEDULE?

We have different services on Sunday and Wednesday. View our schedule of services here.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

At Tabernacle Baptist Church, we encourage you to dress in a way that is comfortable, modest, and respectful for worship. While there is no formal dress code for guests or members, many of our ministry leaders and church family prefer traditional ‘Sunday’ attire. Whatever you choose to wear, we want you to know that you are welcome, and we are grateful for the opportunity to worship with you and your family.

HOW DO I GET A RIDE TO CHURCH?

If you need a ride to church, please let us know ahead of time so we may be able to arrange for someone to pick you up. Reach out to info@sptbc.com.

AM I EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OFFERING?

No. We don't invite you to Tabernacle Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

WHAT KIND OF CHURCH ARE YOU AND WHAT IS YOUR STATEMENT OF FAITH?
